About Claire

Claire completed her 5 year training to become an osteopath in 2000 and has since specialised in treating animals.

Her interest in rare breeds and exotic animals started when she and her sister were given two donkeys. Later, on a school trip, she saw her first four-horned Herbridean sheep, painted the most terrible picture of it and handed the picture to her father. The painting resulted in her father starting the Merchant Flock of Hebridean sheep, and eventually led to Claire and her partner Steven starting the Ashgrove Flock.

While travelling around the world Claire's interest in more exotic animals grew, and the idea of manipulating a giraffe's neck or treating a pangolin's shoulder just kept niggling at her. Her treatments have now helped animals of a variety of species, but as yet no pangolins. Claire treats in the South East, North London, and East Midlands (but will travel further for that elusive pangolin!).
